Pavel Titov, President of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, topped the rating “Salt of the Earth. Top Managers of AIC-2023”

At the end of December 2023, Kommersant newspaper published for the first time a specialized industry rating of the best managers of the agro-industrial complex “Salt of the Earth. Top Managers of AIC-2023” The list of industry leaders includes five executives of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies.

The new rating was first compiled at the initiative of Rosselkhozbank using the methodology of the country’s main business association—the Association of Russian Managers. Pavel Titov, President of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, headed one of the most important nominations—“Head of the enterprise/Agriculture, including multi-industry holdings.”

The basic principle of selecting participants in the rating completely repeats the principle of the well-known project for assessing managers’ qualities “Top 1000 Russian Managers,” where the best choose the best. There is no jury of the rating, the choice is made by the candidates and research participants themselves, each in their areas. The rating was based not only on the prominence of the candidates in the market but also on the specific achievements in the industry of each of them over the past reporting period. The rating included the largest companies in the agro-industrial complex: ROST Management Company, Cherkizovo Group, Damate Management Company, and many other industry leaders.

The best top managers of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies also included: Oleg Petko, commercial director of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, in the Commercial Director / Development Director nomination; Yulia Kirillova, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance, in the Financial Director nomination; Dmitry Korzhnev, HR Director of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, in the HR Director nomination; Olga Firstova, Director of Communications and Public Relations, in the Director of Marketing and/or Communications nomination.

“It’s a great honor for me personally and for the whole team to have our efforts appreciated so highly by our peers. Being in the Salt of the Earth rating is of particular importance – another important statement for us is that winemaking is a branch of the agro-industrial complex. The Abrau-Durso Group of Companies has about 4,000 ha of vineyards. We are constantly expanding our raw material base and developing nursery farming. We appreciate that the industry recognizes the professionalism of our team. Leadership in the rating is a confirmation of the efficiency of our work and, of course, a stimulus for growth and moving forward,” says Pavel Titov, President of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, commenting on the results.

In total, almost 600 companies took part in the new rating. The selection of laureates took place in several stages: submission of applications, online voting, calculation of the integral assessment, and, finally, the final stage—publication of the results. Among the candidates, 78% were men and 22% were women. Company executives, chief agronomists, and top managers in such areas as finance, commerce, personnel management, marketing, and logistics could apply and vote in their nomination.
