Abrau-Durso PJSC placed its debut bond issue with record demand

On 23 July 2025, Abrau-Durso PJSC, the management company of the Abrau-Durso Group, successfully placed its debut issue of 002P-01 series bonds with a nominal value of RUB 500 million at a coupon rate of 15.50% per annum for a term of 1.5 years. The nominal value of the bonds is RUB 1,000, and the coupon period is 30 days. The total demand amounted to more than RUB 6.5 billion.
The initial coupon rate target was set at no higher than 22% per annum. The heightened interest of investors in the public offering of bonds by Abrau-Durso PJSC, which was evident even at the preparatory stage, made it possible to open the order book with an already lower target price. During the bookbuilding, the coupon rate was reduced three more times against the backdrop of a 12-fold oversubscription. Total demand amounted to more than RUB 6.5 billion, with the announced issue volume being RUB 500 million. The cumulative move is 650 basis points, which is the largest coupon rate reduction from the market benchmark in the market this year.
Following the transaction, the premium to the yield on federal loan bonds equals 2.8% — a record for corporate bonds with a similar rating profile and underscores investors' high confidence in the company's financial stability and strategic prospects. The placement opened up a new previously unused source of financing for the Abrau-Durso Group and strengthened its position in the capital markets.
The issue was organized by leading Russian investment banks: SberCIB, VTB Capital Trading and Gazprombank.
"We are very pleased with the results of the placement and delighted that Abrau-Durso securities are generating as much interest as its products. The results of the bond campaign confirm the investors' high confidence in the company and indicate a positive assessment of its future performance. We would like to thank our partner banks for their excellent collaboration on this project," commented on the placement Elena Zaritskaya, CEO of Abrau-Durso PJSC.
