Exporter of the Year is an annual award supported by the Government of the Russian Federation as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project among large companies, as well as small and medium-sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs. The award is a symbol of national recognition of achievements in strengthening the country's economy and promoting domestic products in foreign markets.

In 2021, the Abrau-Durso Group exported 1.4 million liters, or 1.8 million bottles, of sparkling wines, which is 59% of the export turnover of all sparkling wines from Russia. As of the end of 2021, the company's export portfolio included 28 countries - Belarus, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, China and others. Apart from sparkling wines, Abrau-Durso exports still wines, cider and artesian water. The company's product portfolio also includes strong alcohol and non-alcoholic carbonated drinks.

The Abrau-Durso products are in demand both in Russia and abroad, and are recognized by Russian and international experts. In 2021, its still and sparkling wines have won 46 awards at prestigious international tasting competitions. Abrau-Durso is also the only Russian winner in the Rising Star nomination of the most famous international tasting competition for champagnes and sparkling wines - Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships 2021 (UK).

“The Southern Federal District is a key region of Russian winemaking, and we are very pleased that among all the producers, it was Abrau-Durso that received the award for fruitful work in foreign markets. Our products are already well known to Russian consumers, the future challenge is to make domestic wine popular abroad as well. I want to note that, despite the change in the geography of deliveries and the difficulties with logistics, we continue to expand the company's export portfolio, we plan to increase deliveries and promote our products within the country and abroad,” says Pavel Titov, Abrau-Durso President.
