The intriguing Abrau Estates Cabernet a la White, made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon using the Blanc de Noir technology, which is rarely applied in the production of still wines, will brighten up summer evenings.

The Abrau Estates collection of still wines has been replenished with modern novelties, ideal for summer aperitifs - the trendy pink Abrau Estates Rose and the unusual white Abrau Estates Cabernet a la White - all from the 2022 harvest of the Yubileynaya vineyards, part of the Abrau-Durso Group. One of the important features of the Taman Peninsula terroir is the mud volcanoes located near the vineyards, which largely determine the unique style of local wines and give them a special subtle minerality.

The first rosé in the collection - Abrau Estates Rose - is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this unusual combination has a bright personality. The multifaceted freshness of rosé wine is achieved through manual grape harvesting and its careful sorting. Using the direct pressing method without mechanical impact allows creating a particularly delicate, light and classic style of wine. Only the best 30% of the total juice obtained is used to produce Abrau Estates Rose. A delicate soft pink shade of Abrau Estates Rose reflects the features of the technological process.

Fresh and multifaceted, the wine bouquet unfolds in the glass with tones of fresh strawberries and ripe currants, turning into notes of red grapefruit. Juicy berry taste is characterized by freshness, preserved in wine due to high, but balanced acidity. Delicate aftertaste emphasizes hints of ripe strawberries and red berries. The Abrau Estates Cabernet a la White is created from the famous European grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon using the original Blanc de Noir technology, which is better known in the production of sparkling and pink wines. A still white wine from red grapes, rare for this style, will attract the attention of those who are looking for new impressions and tastes in the wine world.

The main features of Abrau Estates Cabernet a la White are the use of cuvée, the juice of the first pressing without aging on red berries skin. The creative approach to the process and the use of Blanc de Noir technology allowed us to create a wine with a unique pearly hue, which over time acquires subtle pink highlights due to the red grapes peculiarities. Fresh and refined aromas of wine is emphasized by bright tones of white plum, gooseberry, white apples and spring primroses. The total amount of novelties amounted to 130,000 bottles, of which 80,000 of pink wine and 50,000 of white wine.
